I am trained in experiential dynamic therapy which works with somatic (bodily) experience; affective/emotional states; cognitive processes (beliefs and values) and relational factors to facilitate personal change as rapidly as possible.
I am a registered Psychotherapist, having completed training and academic work regarded as equivalent to a Master’s degree. I provide psychotherapy (‘therapy’) for individuals, couples, and groups, and supervision for practicing psychotherapists.
I have trained in a number of modalities and ‘specialist’ areas including Transactional Analysis (I am a Board certified Transactional Analyst), sex therapy, and group therapy. I am also a trained Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapist having completed a 300 hour training through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Colorado in 2023. |

I want to create or help create ‘safe’ spaces for people who feel marginalised or misunderstood or discriminated against in society. I hold a very open mind towards people who identify as non-binary in terms of gender identity.
I welcome people of colour into my practice. I am comfortable working with Māori, whilst also acknowledging that I have a great deal to learn from Maori as I work with them. I welcome people who identify outside of the norms of hetero-normativity. |
